Approach

Gathering requirements around how users search for venues and coaches, and how a booking should flow from discovery to confirmed session
Researching mapping SDKs and geolocation services to find the right balance of accuracy, performance, and cost for a venue/coach discovery map
Designing the data model behind venues, coaches, and availability so search and booking stay fast as the number of listings grows
Building the backend API to serve map data, profiles, and booking requests, with a booking engine that keeps availability accurate and prevents double-booking
Implementing the provided design and wiring it to live map, profile, and booking data
Testing the discovery-to-booking flow end-to-end across devices before submission
Preparing store assets, metadata, and compliance requirements, and managing the submission and review process to publish the app on the App Store

Result

A live iOS application that helps users discover sports venues and coaches on an interactive map and book training sessions directly from the app. Active Maps is available now on the App Store.
